The Power of Consistency

With overcoming Imposter Syndrome, I realized there is another powerful lesson: the importance of consistency. The saying ‘nothing beats a failure but a try’ sums up this mentality perfectly. Basically, if you never try, then you’ll never succeed. In terms of consistency, you’ll never know your impact if you never start. 

This lesson ‘clicked’ once I ran into an old classmate. She shared her appreciation for CAGGS, & I was genuinely in shock! I had no idea she still followed me (lol) because I hadn’t seen her engage with my newer content. That’s when it hit me…I probably had a bigger impact & reach than I thought. It’s impossible to engage with every piece of content we see, but that doesn’t mean we’re not watching. I checked CAGGS’ analytics for the month, & I was in disbelief. My consistency resulted in almost 6k accounts reached on Instagram. I’ve noticed new accounts engaging, but I never realized who’s really watching. I finally felt fulfilled in being seen.

Of course, there’s always cons to any pro in being seen. The one I’ve experienced is that of my coworkers! I work in a male-dominant field, so I was surprised I reached a very select few. I’ve had criticisms & snickering over CAGGS, but that’s when an important decision was made. Do I stop doing what I love because of them, or do I keep going to go beyond my fullest potential? I chose to keep going! There’s no reason to give up now. Thank you so much to any & everyone who’s showed support along the way 🤍 This is a reminder to keep going!
